These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DateCue, a Shopify app developed and operated by Ripen Studio ("we", "our", or "us"). By installing or using DateCue, you agree to these Terms.
DateCue is a Shopify application that automates product actions based on metafield dates. It allows merchants to create workflows that trigger tag changes, status updates, email alerts, and webhooks when product date metafields reach a specified date.
You must have an active Shopify store and a valid Shopify account to use DateCue. By using DateCue, you represent that you have the authority to bind your business to these Terms.
DateCue is a paid subscription app billed through Shopify's billing system. By subscribing, you agree to Shopify's payment terms. Subscription fees are charged on a monthly basis.
You agree not to use DateCue to:
We aim to keep DateCue available and running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability.
Workflow execution is best-effort with a target of running within one minute of a scheduled date. We do not guarantee exact execution timing.
You retain ownership of all data in your Shopify store. By using DateCue, you grant us permission to access and process your store's product data as necessary to provide the service. Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
DateCue is built on the Shopify platform. Your use of Shopify is subject to Shopify's Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Shopify's Terms, Shopify's Terms take precedence with respect to the Shopify platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ripen Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DateCue, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of DateCue shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
DateCue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
You may stop using DateCue at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to DateCue for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of DateCue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
